Two great idol-actress share cute friendship.
“Two Cops” press conference was held back on November 23rd, the entire main cast was present including Girls Day’s Hyeri.
Girls Day’s Hyeri is taking on the role of a feisty reporter for her newest drama role, Suzy has played a similar role for SBS’s hit drama “While You Were Asleep.”
Hyeri revealed that she reached out to Suzy after she got the script for her new drama, she said,
“When I got the script, I discussed it with Suzy. It was before ‘While You Were Asleep’ aired, Suzy told me that she had fun preparing for her reporter character.”
She added,
“I got a lot of help from Suzy. She did very well with her role, so I am a bit worried that our roles will be compared, nevertheless, I felt happy and inspired watching her in the drama.”
The idol-actress also revealed she had met with reporters while working on her role.
“Two Cops” is a fantasy crime drama that follows a detective (Jo Jung Suk) and a reporter Song Ji An (Hyeri).
It will air its first episode on November 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
