Seems like the role that made Kim Yoo Jung the queen of CFs in 2016 was almost never hers.
tvN’s “The List 2017” has revealed to the public that the female lead role in “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” was first offered to Kim Go Eun.
Back in mid-2016, Kim Go Eun was looking for her next project following the success of “Cheese in the trap” and she was handed in the script of “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds”.
After long consideration, the actress decided to reject the role and it ended up going to Kim Yoo Jung and it became the “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” we all know and love so much.
Kim Go Eun was almost gonna be reunited with her love interest, she previous shared the screen with him in a movie called “China Town”.
It was almost a bad decision that Kim Go Eun have missed one of the hit dramas of 2016, but she was then offered the leading role in “Goblin”. She took on the project and another hit drama of late 2016 early 2017 was born. “Goblin” was a huge success and a phenomenon in South Korea and outside it as well.
So Kim Go Eun might have missed out on a good role in “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” but she still snagged a good role that will forever be remembered in “Goblin”.
