Kang Ha Neul and IU meeting up has caused some misunderstanding among netizens earlier today.
Kang Ha Neul and IU met up today ahead of his military enlistment, which caused fans to speculate whether the two were dating.
Sadly, Kang Ha Neul’s quickly refuted the rumors, they released an official statement addressing the allegations, they said,
“Its true that Kang Ha Neul met up with IU, but the two are only close friends, they’re not dating, they got closer while filming ‘Scarlet Heart Ryeo’”
The rumors have stemmed from a photo taken of the two along with their friends, the two have been spotted in a café today on September 10.
What made the rumors spread so quickly was that Kang Ha Neul is enlisting tomorrow in the military and is said to have wanted to spend time with IU ahead of his enlistment. The two even wore couple like clothes and fans couldn’t help but notice how happy and cute they looked while snapping a photo with their friends.
Today is the last day for Kang Ha Neul as a civilian, tomorrow he will enlist in the military to fulfil his duties and will exit in late 2019.
