Many news outlets have been reporting that a famous idol is currently under investigation for being accepted into Kyung Hee University graduate school.

On January 17, it was revealed that the famous idol was CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa. CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa then released an apology to his Instagram account, in his handwritten he wrote,

“First and foremost, I bow my head in apology. Whatever the reason, whatever the truth may be, I know that its my fault and I am deeply reflecting.

Whatever you say about me, I will accept it. To my family, members, and fans who have always been there and believed in me, I am very ashamed and sorry for disappointing you all.

Whatever I say, whatever I post, I understand it may not be easy for you to accept, but I would like to apologize once again.

I am sorry for taking up from your time with my letter.”

The apology letter was released after it was confirmed that the Jung Yong Hwa was the popular idol being investigated after being accepted into the doctoral program at the graduate school of Kyung Hee University through what people are describing as ‘preferred/special treatment.’

The police are currently investigating the matter. Jung Yong Hwa was recommended by professor Lee (named undisclosed) who was the school dean at the time Jung Yong Hwa applied for the program (back in October 2016).

Jung Yong Hwa has failed to show up to the interview but had received a passing grade on that, he later applied for additional recruitment two months after the interview was scheduled.

It is also being revealed that the police are currently looking over laws that may apply to both Jung Yong Hwa and professor Lee.

It has also been reported that many celebrities have also been accepted into graduate school without evaluation interviews, which makes it more than likely that the police’s investigation will be expanding at later stages.
