Lee Jong Suk and Suzy were one of 2017’s best couple, they even took home SBS best couple award.
The two actors sizzling chemistry kept fans coming back for more, and during their acceptance speech for 2017 best couple award at SBS Drama Awards 2017, Lee Jong Suk said something that gave shippers hope.
During their acceptance speech they both thanked their fans, each other and the staff who worked hard on the drama set, the MC of the event Shin Dong Yup then asked whether they had developed feelings for each other while filming the drama, he asked,
“I heard that in dramas while you’re immersed in your roles that actors sometimes falling in love a little, did that happen to you?”
Lee Jong Suk gave the sweetest answer, he said,
“Suzy is the most beautiful woman in Korea. I fell in love from time to time.”
While Suzy gave a more conservative answer, she said,
“Jong Suk oppa is so good looking, I found myself easily immersed in my role.”
Their sweet chemistry and shyness while accepting the best couple awards continued backstage when they were also interviewed by another MC, they continued to joke around each other, Suzy said,
“Jong Suk might be a chemistry fair.”
To which Lee Jong Suk gave the funniest answer, he said,
“Did you have some drinks?”
We’re totally on board if one day we found out they were dating for real!
