Actress Kim Sa Rang has stepped down from her role in the highly anticipated drama “Mr. Sunshine.”
On February 11, the actress agency confirmed initial reports and stated that the actress is indeed leaving the upcoming drama, but clarified that it was not due to alleged health reasons (as specified by the production team in a statement previously) but due to schedule reasons.
On February 12, it was revealed that actress Kim Min Jung has been offered the role of actress Kim Sa Rang, her agency revealed that she’s received the script and is considering the offer positively.
“Mr. Sunshine” is the comeback drama by screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and director Lee Eung Bok, the duo behind the hit dramas “Descendants of the Sun” and “Goblin.”
The drama will air its first episode in July, it features a star-studded cast including Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Ri, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Byun Yo Han.
That’s weird! Its weird because she confirmed she was joining back in September 2017, now out of nowhere, she says she’s too busy to film for the drama…
I have checked her roles and found out that she has no projects lined up and she is not in talks for any upcoming dramas or movies. I hope I see her soon in another drama.
The drama is currently filming, people are excited about it, but I am not as excited, I just don’t like Lee Byung Hun. His aura, his attitude and actions made it pretty difficult for me to like him, thus I will probably not be tuning in, I wished the lead male was someone else because the entire cast is bomb.
