“Return” Shines And Breaks A New Record Despite Actress Ko Hyun Jung Sudden Exit

Wednesday-Thursday drama ratings are in, here is how your favorite kdramas did this week.

Wednesday 7th February

Despite actress Ko Hyun Jung sudden issue and exit, “Return” continues to shine with its intriguing plot.

According to Nielsen Korea, “Return” rated 14.4% and 17.4% which is 0.2% and 1.4% higher than its previous episode and a personal new record with 17.4% being its highest viewership ratings to date.

While, KBS 2TV’s “Black Knight” rated 8.7%, while MBC’s re-run of “White Tower” hit 2.5% and 2.9%.

tvN’s “Mother” rated 2.4% for its 5th episode.

Thursday 8th February

With the absence of “Return” due to SBS “Pyeongchang Winter Olympics” and “SBS 8 O’clock News” broadcast, KBS 2TV “Black Knight” aired its last episode and had rated its highest viewership ratings to date, it rated 13.9%.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Mother” saw a huge surge in ratings, it rated 4.2% which is almost 2% higher than its previous episode and its personal best record to date.
