It is a relatively unknown fact, but you don’t usually find people posting night professional photos of The Eiffel Tower, there is a reason for that, its because its illegal to do so without obtaining a permission from the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel.
Its illegal to share, sell or publish photos and videos of the night-lit Eiffel Tower without prior permission from the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel.
EXO’s Kai is currently in Paris, France and he has recently shared a video of himself dancing next to The Eiffel Tower at night during a night show.
A fan worries if this might affect Kai asked the official twitter account of The Eiffel Tower asking if Kai would suffer consequences for doing this.

Luckily for us, they did respond and they said this,
“Hi, photos and videos for personal use of The Eiffel Tower at night are not illgela or subject to authorization 😉 only professionals must inquire with us of the conditions of exploitation of their images at night. More info here: @ttps://t.co/LNJqbfsWP0”
Fans were relieved to know that Kai is in the clear, European laws are very strict and the last thing any fan want is for their idol to suffer consequences for a law they didn’t know existed.
