Rumor has it that Wanna One Lai Kuan Lin has signed with a famous agency producer, his current agency Cube Entertainment stepped to respond to the reports.
On September 27, Taiwanese media outlet ET Today reported that Lai Kuan Lin signed with a famous Chinese producer who manages many top stars such as Jackson Yee and actor Liu Haoran.
The Chinese producer Guo Qing Ma has been introducing himself as Lai Kuan Lin’s manager; he had sent messages to his associates, in which he says he is managing the idol,
“I am introducing myself on the behalf of Lai Kuan Lin. I hope we can work together in the near future.”
The report claims that he will start promoting in China under the Chinese agency after Wanna One disbands on December 31st, 2018.
The report shocked Wanna One fans because he is already signed to an agency, Cube Entertainment.
Cube Entertainment didn’t stay quiet and returned with their own statement saying,
“Currently, Cube Entertainment also manages Chinese members Pentagon’s YanAn, (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua, and Yuqi. The issue with Lai Kuan Lin’s management agency will be discussed after Wanna One promotions wrap up. Nothing is yet confirmed.”
