BTS has won their first EVER AMA award on the night of October 9!
The 2018 American Music Awards were held on October 9 (local time) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Following the red carpet event which was attended by Kpop artists NCT 127, Tiffany and Kris Wu, the AMAs announced the first winner of the night, the winner of Favorite Social Artist.
The winner was BTS! They were up against Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and Shawn Mendes.
This was their first EVER AMA nomination and their first EVER win as well.
The boys could have attended the awards show but they are currently busy touring the world for “Love Yourself” tour.
They are currently in London and will be holding their second concert today at the O2 Arena.
