The East Light fandom, as well as Kpop fandoms, have joined hands to help get a petition to the blue house and ask for justice for The East Light members.

Back On October 18, it was reported that The East Light members were being abused physically and emotionally by producer Moon Young Il and CEO Kim Chang Hwan.

The former leader of the band, Lee Seok Chul held a press conference in which he revealed gruesome details about the abuse they had to go through before their debut until now. The agency and its CEO released an official statement in which they admitted they were aware of the abuse and revealed that the producer handing in his resignation but completely denied that the CEO was involved in this ordeal.

Later, JTBC released a voice recording of Lee Seok Chul confronting CEO Kim Chang Hwan about going public with this. Later, the CEO released a statement claiming the voice recording was fake.

After the CEO’s further denial, Lee Seok Chul went on to reveal more evidence of physical and verbal abuse through messages screenshots and even photos of the injuries.

On October 22, Media Line Entertainment announced they had terminated their contracts with the rest four members.

Back in October 19 horrified fans decided to take matters into their own hands and created a petition on the Blue House official website asking for proper punishment of producer Moon Young Il and CEO Kim Chang Hwan.

For the Blue House to officially respond to a petition, the petition must reach 200,000 signatures in a month.

On October 24, the petition has already surpassed 200,000 signatures and it has been 6 days since it was started. Fans of the group asked other fandoms for their help.

National and international fans got involved and joined hands to sign the petition in order to get the Blue House attention and help bring justice to the boys who suffered so much for no reason.

The physical and verbal violence they experienced must not go unnoticed and more strict measures should be implemented to protect idols.

I can’t wait to hear the Blue House response to this, I hope they get involved in this case and make everyone who hurt the boys pay a hefty price that’ll make others think twice before they consider abusing idols in the future.
