On December 2, DIA Yebin uploaded a cover of IU’s track “Between The Lips” to her instagram account. Fans are aware that Yebin is a huge IU fan and she recently had the chance to meet her in concert.

She was one of the many guests who attended her concerts on November 17 and 18. IU held her 10th-anniversary concert which was completely sold-out; it was held at KSPO Dome.

A lot of idols and celebrities attended the event and TWICE were one of the acts to guest-perform at her concert.

Previously, in a VLive session, Nayeon flaunted IU’s gifts to her and her members. She revealed that she loved the ring they were gifted and said she wouldn’t take it off because she’s so happy with them, she said,

“They have become my favorite items. I even wore the shoes to my Music Bank.”

The gift bags had 2 rings from Gucci, and an iPhone or a pair of Chanel shoes. For any girls who already had an iPhone, IU gifted them with shoes instead.

Fans looked up the prices of the gifts that IU gave the girls and were astonished to find the actual prices. The average gift bag had a value of about 2,000,000 won (approx. $1,785).

However, a certain malicious commenter left a nasty comment on Yebin’s post to tell her,

“Did you know that IU gave presents to TWICE’s Nayeon? only the popular receive IU love. Not you Yebin… Wake up… you look pitiful.”

Yebin replied to that person writing,

“Its okay because I love her~”

IU has apparently also seen the cover, she replied with a heart and a thumbs up emoji encouraging Yebin.

As you’d expect, the general public reaction to that malicious comment wasn’t nice. Many TWICE fans saying that the commenter is not part of the fandom, others talked about how mean they were for writing such a comment.
