Actor Jo Yoon Woo Announces Marriage And Retirement From The Entertainment Industry
Actor Jo Yoon Woo announced news of his marriage and retirement.
On the 1st o January, Jo Yoon Woo wrote on his Instagram, “After a long period of consideration, I have met a precious person with whom I want to spend my life. In order to draw our own simple, everyday life together, I have decided to step away from my 15-year career as an actor.”
He continued, “Since I debuted at 21 and spent 15 years running forward while focusing solely on the profession of acting, those years were incredibly precious to me, which is why I thought about this carefully for a long time. For the rest of my life, I want to try drawing a fun life together with the person I want to protect for the first time since I was born.”
Jo Yoon Woo concluded by saying, “Please look kindly upon the everyday life I will share with my precious partner and closest friend, with whom I have been together for over four years.”
Jo Yoon Woo made his debut in 2011 through the tvN drama “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” and appeared in works such as “Cyrano Agency” and “Ugly Alert.”
In 2013, he left a short but strong impression as a school violence victim bullied by Kim Woo Bin in writer Kim Eun Sook’s drama “The Heirs.” In 2017, he played a leading role in “Band of Sisters!” His most recent work was the 2023 ENA drama “Not Others.”
