Actor Yoo Teo’s Father Passes Away, To Skip The 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards
Actor Yoo Teo is mourning the loss of his father.
On December 18, Yoo Teo’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, confirmed to Newsen, “Yoo Teo’s father passed away earlier today after battling a chronic illness. Yoo Teo and his wife, Nikki Lee, will be departing for Germany tomorrow.”
Regarding his attendance at the upcoming “2024 MBC Entertainment Awards,” the agency stated, “He will not be able to attend due to the bereavement.”
Yoo Teo has previously shown his deep love for his family, even attending the Berlin Film Festival for his film “Leto” alongside his parents. During the March 2023 broadcast of MBC’s “The Manager,” he shared, “I was born and raised in Germany. I wanted to share the experience with my family, so I attended the festival with my parents.”
Most recently, Yoo Teo appeared in the MBC variety show “Music Universe Born This Way,” which concluded in October.
