“My Royal Nemesis” Actress Baek Eun Hye Marries Musical Actor Lee Jun Woo
Actress Baek Eun Hye and former figure skater-turned-musical actor Lee Jun Woo have tied the knot.
On the 6th of June, Baek Eun Hye and Lee Jun Woo held their wedding ceremony at a venue in Seoul.
Former figure skater Cho Kyung Ah, who attended as a guest, shared photos from the wedding on her social media account.
Cho Kyung Ah also revealed that Kim Yuna attended the ceremony. She wrote, “I ran into Yuna unnie for the first time in a while at the wedding! I’m so grateful that she happily took a photo with us,” alongside a picture of Kim Yuna holding her son.
Other former skating colleagues of Lee Jun Woo, including Kwak Min Jeong and Kim Hae Jin, also attended the wedding and celebrated the couple’s new chapter together.
News of Baek Eun Hye and Lee Jun Woo’s marriage was first announced on the 5th of June, to the surprise of fans. Lee Jun Woo personally shared the news through a handwritten letter posted on social media, writing, “I have news that I wanted to personally share with those who have always supported and been with me.”
He continued, “A precious person has entered my life—someone who looks in the same direction as me and will walk beside me. And I have made a promise to spend my life with that person.”
He added, “The love and support I have received from my days as an athlete to my current life as a musical actor made me who I am today. That’s why I wanted to share this joyful news with all of you. I would be grateful if you could pray for us and bless us.”
Born in 1986, Baek Eun Hye has appeared in dramas including What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Nokdu Flower, Black Dog, The Good Detective, The In-Laws, When the Stars Gossip, Family by Choice, and Honor, as well as several musicals.
She is currently appearing in the SBS drama “My Royal Nemesis” as Cha Ju Mi, the CEO of Cha Il Apparel and the second aunt of Cha Segye (played by Heo Nam Jun).
Lee Jun Woo, who was born in 1996 and is 10 years younger than Baek Eun Hye, is a former figure skater who transitioned into musical theater. He made his musical debut in 2021 with La Révolution and has since appeared in productions including Turbulent Times, V Ever After, Missing, Black Mary Poppins, Duel, Aesop’s Story, and Paganini.
