“Agent Kim Reactivated” Sets New Ratings Record, Captivating Viewers Of All Ages
“Agent Kim Reactivated” is achieving remarkable results.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Agent Kim Reactivated,” which aired on July 4th, recorded a peak viewership rating of 25.1% in its fourth episode, becoming the first miniseries in two years to surpass 20%. “Agent Kim Reactivated” set a new record in the history of SBS’s Friday-Saturday dramas, with average ratings reaching 22.7% in the greater Seoul area and 21.6% nationwide.
According to data compiled by Nielsen Korea, “Agent Kim Reactivated,” which started at 9.5%, recorded a peak rating of 25.1% in just four episodes, with average ratings of 22.7% in the greater Seoul area and 21.6% nationwide. Its rating among viewers aged 20 to 49 also rose from an average of 7.6% to a peak of 8.81%, marking the highest record among all terrestrial and cable programs in two years.
In particular, “Agent Kim Reactivated” captivated viewers of all generations, regardless of specific age or gender. The viewership rating among men in their 30s rose about sixfold compared to the first episode, while men in their 20s recorded a share of over 50%. Women aged 30 to 59 recorded a peak share of 46%, and women in their 20s recorded a share of 44%, successfully drawing interest from a wide range of age groups.
Hong Sung Chang, CEO of Studio S, commented on the achievement, saying, “We can confirm the result that the enjoyment of the content draws viewers in front of the TV.” Its popularity was further proven as “Agent Kim Reactivated” and So Ji Sub simultaneously ranked first in the TV-OTT drama and cast buzz rankings for the first week of July.
“Agent Kim Reactivated” airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
