Byeon Woo Seok Already Suffering Severe Privacy Invasion Due To Sasaengs, Agency Issues Warning
Byeon Woo Seok’s agency has pleaded for the protection of his privacy.
On the 30th of May, his agency, Varo Entertainment, announced through their official fan cafe, “We would like to address the issue of fans visiting the set of his schedule. Recently, due to the large crowds of people, there have been concerns about the breakdown of order and safety. In order to protect our artist and promote a more mature fandom culture, we would like to provide some guidelines.”
The agency stated, “Regarding private schedules, we urge fans to refrain from unauthorized visits, as it is causing serious harm to both the artist and the organizers. Unofficial visits to undisclosed schedules should be avoided.”
They continued, “In order to prevent safety accidents during official schedules, we kindly ask fans to refrain from behaviors such as getting too close to the artist, directly giving letters and gifts, and any other actions that may pose a safety risk. We also ask that you refrain from directly contacting the actor and instead deliver letters and gifts to the designated manager. If possible, please send letters and gifts to the company’s address, and the management team will ensure they are delivered to the artist.”
Byeon Woo Seok’s side warned, “Actions such as following the artist’s vehicle after schedules, unauthorized visits and filming in private spaces including residences, and obtaining personal information illegally are strictly prohibited. Any of these actions could result in severe legal consequences.”
Finally, they added, “Once again, we would like to express our gratitude for the sincere love from fans. Our agency will continue to make efforts for the safety of everyone involved, including the artist and fans.”
Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok has been gaining attention for his role as Ryu Sun Jae in the recently concluded tvN drama “Lovely Runner.” He will also be holding his solo fan meeting tour soon.
