Cha Joo Young Revealed To Be Still Recovering From Surgery, Fans Worried

Cha Joo Young is currently recovering after undergoing surgery for recurrent nosebleeds and a recent update shared about her has worried fans.

Recently, Ha Ji Won appeared on Sung Si Kyung’s YouTube channel and shared various stories related to the drama “Climax.” During the conversation, Sung Si Kyung mentioned co-stars Ju Ji Hoon and Cha Joo Young. Cha Joo Young had previously built a connection by appearing on his channel.

Sung Si Kyung said, “Ji Hoon is a younger colleague I really adore, and I also got to know Joo Young—she’s such a good and capable person. I wanted to invite her as a surprise guest, but I heard she still hasn’t fully recovered from her nose surgery. I heard it was a major surgery that required general anesthesia.”

Upon hearing this, Ha Ji Won expressed regret, saying, “It would have been really fun if Joo Young could have come.”

Cha Joo Young underwent surgery in January due to repeated nosebleed symptoms. At the time, her agency, Ghost Studio, stated, “Cha Joo Young had been receiving detailed examinations and treatment for long-term recurring nosebleeds, and based on medical advice, she proceeded with an ENT surgery that could no longer be delayed.”

It was also revealed that she is currently in the recovery and monitoring stage after surgery, making it difficult for her to carry out official activities for the time being, which has raised concerns among fans.
