Actress Cha Joo Young Under Fire For Posting A Photo In A Car Without Wearing Seatbelt, Is The Backlash Justified Or Too Much?
Actress Cha Joo Young has drawn attention after posting content on social media showing her violating traffic safety regulations.
Recently, Cha Joo Young shared multiple photos and videos on her Instagram along with a heart emoji.
In the posts, she was seen enjoying omakase sushi and drinks. While she did not drive after the meal, she was later seen riding in the back seat of a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt.
Currently, under South Korean traffic law, wearing a seatbelt is mandatory for all passengers in vehicles nationwide, including in Seoul. This regulation has been fully enforced on all roads since September 28, 2018.

By appearing without a seatbelt, Cha Joo Young has sparked controversy. Violating this rule can result in a fine imposed on the driver. In the case of an adult passenger not wearing a seatbelt, a fine of 30,000 won is issued.
As the backlash gained attention, fans were split. Some believe it was reckless of her to post this photo, while others believe its being blown out of proportion and its more than likely the car was parked while taking the photo.
What do you think of it?
