The court has recognized YouTuber Lee Jin Ho’s actions as a stalking crime against the late Kim Sae Ron. As a result, he has been ordered to suspend all broadcasts related to Kim Sae Ron for three months.
On the 31st of March, NoCut News reported, “The court acknowledged Lee Jin Ho’s stalking crime and issued a provisional measure, which prohibits him from broadcasting content related to the late Kim Sae Ron for three months.”
The media outlet further stated, “Kwon Young Chan, the director of the Korea Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, who has been in communication with Kim Sae Ron’s family, told CBS NoCut News, ‘Today (31st), the court recognized Lee Jin Ho’s stalking crime and issued a provisional measure. As a result, Lee Jin Ho is prohibited from producing YouTube content related to the late Kim Sae Ron and her bereaved family for three months.'”
Additionally, the bereaved family reportedly plans to file an additional complaint against Lee Jin Ho for defamation due to false information in his recent broadcasts.
Previously, on the 17th, the bereaved family had filed a criminal complaint against Lee Jin Ho, the operator of the YouTube channel “Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho,” for defamation under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
In response, on the 28th, Lee Jin Ho stated on his channel, “Attorney Bu Ji Seok from the law firm Buyou, acting as the legal representative, labeled me a murderer, held a press conference, and even threatened to file additional charges for stalking. These statements themselves prove that the recordings of the deceased, phone calls with related parties, and conversations with her ex-boyfriend that I released were all true.”
