Gold Medalist Denies Cyberwrecker YouTuber Allegations That Kim Soo Hyun Dated Kim Sae Ron When She Was 15
Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s side has announced legal action against the claims made by the YouTube channel “Garo Sero Institute” (hereinafter referred to as Gaseyeon) regarding the late Kim Sae Ron, stating that they are “false information.”
On the 10th of March, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, firmly stated, “The claims made by Gaseyeon regarding Kim Soo Hyun on their YouTube broadcast are clearly false.”
On this day, the channel conducted an interview with Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family and also revealed a lengthy statement, claiming it was written by the late actress on March 24 last year.
Kim Sae Ron had posted a photo on social media on March 23 last year, showing her face close to Kim Soo Hyun’s. After dating rumors arose, she deleted the photo. Gaseyeon claimed that because of this, she did not post the prepared statement. The revealed statement allegedly contained claims that “Kim Soo Hyun and I dated from November 19, 2015, to July 7, 2021,” and also mentioned financial issues with Gold Medalist.
Gold Medalist responded, saying, “Gaseyeon made numerous malicious claims, including allegations that our agency and Kim Soo Hyun colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae Ron, that Kim Sae Ron had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun since she was 15, that our agency’s handling of her DUI incident was inappropriate, and that one of our managers was close to YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. These are all completely unfounded falsehoods that we cannot overlook, and we are reviewing the strongest possible legal action against Gaseyeon’s dissemination of false information.”
The agency further stated, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kim Sae Ron, who was once a part of our agency, and we mourn her loss. Gaseyeon’s spreading of such false information is nothing more than a repetition of the so-called ‘cyber wreckers’ behavior that the late Kim Sae Ron suffered from during her lifetime. This not only defames our agency and Kim Soo Hyun but also tarnishes the late actress’s honor. We earnestly request that these baseless falsehoods are no longer spread, amplified, or reproduced.”
In related news, Kim Sae Ron’s father was interviewed and revealed his plans to sue Lee Jin Ho, a YouTuber who had released malicious videos about his late daughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron was found deceased at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the 16th of last month.
