Hyun Bin Confirmed To Join Diseny+ 2025 Kdrama, Check Out The Rest Of The Star-Studded Cast Joining Him
The highly anticipated project “Made in Korea,” which has garnered attention due to the collaboration between actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung, is set to be released on Disney Plus next year.
“Made in Korea” is a series set in the tumultuous 1970s, focusing on the story of Baek Gi Tae, a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Jang Geon Young, who is determined to stop him at all costs. The series portrays their encounter with a massive event that sweeps through the era. This is the first series directed by Woo Min Ho, who is known for films such as “Inside Men” (2015), “The Man Standing Next” (2020), and “Harbin” (2024).
Hyun Bin will play Baek Gi Tae, signaling a new and different persona compared to his previous roles. Jung Woo Sung, known for his distinctive filmography, will add depth to the series as prosecutor Jang Geon Young, a character with primal instincts and fierce determination.
The cast also includes Won Ji An from the “D.P.” series, who will play the role of lobbyist Choi Yoo Ji, and Seo Eun Soo will portray investigator Oh Ye Jin. Jo Yeo Jeong will catch the eye as Bae Geum Ji, and Jung Sung Il will take on the role of secretary general Chun Seok Joong, vividly depicting the turbulent times.
“Made in Korea” is scheduled to be exclusively released on Disney+ in 2025.
