Former Rising Actor To Return To The Industry After A 4-Year Hiatus Due To School Bullying Rumors

Actor Dong Ha (33), who had suspended his activities due to allegations of violence, is making a comeback after four years.

Dong Ha will resume his acting career through the film “Cornell’s Box,” set to be released on January 8. The story revolves around Eunwoo, Taeyi, and Taeyi’s girlfriend, Yujin. Following Yujin’s sudden death, her younger sibling joins the others in uncovering the truth behind the incident. Dong Ha plays the role of Taeyi.

In March 2021, Dong Ha faced school violence allegations, leading to his hiatus. At the time, an online post alleged that Dong Ha had slapped someone and used abusive language. Dong Ha’s representatives denied the claims and announced plans for legal action.

By September of the following year, Dong Ha publicly expressed his frustration, stating, “I am not a school violence perpetrator,” and revealed that he had filed a lawsuit against the accuser for defamation and spreading false information. However, the investigation was closed as the original post was deleted, making it impossible to identify the author.

In July of last year, Dong Ha signed an exclusive contract with Empathy Entertainment.
