Fans Are Just Now Discovering The Surprising Bond Between Kim Mu Yeol And Heo Nam Jun, Two Of The Current Hottest Korean Actors

Actor Kim Mu Yeol and actor Heo Nam Jun‘s special connection is drawing attention.

Heo Nam Jun, who recently earned the title of a next-generation K-romance comedy king through the SBS drama “My Royal Nemesis,” revealed that Kim Mu Yeol is his acting role model.

Appearing on Ha Ji Young’s YouTube channel, “YouTube Ha Ji Young,”, Heo Nam Jun mentioned Kim Mu Yeol, whom he worked with in Season 3 of the Netflix series “Sweet Home.” He said, “Whenever I’ve been asked about my role model in interviews, I’ve always mentioned senior actor Kim Mu Yeol. We still meet frequently even now.”

Later, during a roundtable interview for “Teach You a lesson,” Kim Mu Yeol revealed that he was aware of being named Heo Nam Jun’s role model.

He shared, “We became much closer because we worked together on ‘Sweet Home.’ Then I found out we were also senior and junior alumni from the same university, which brought us even closer.”

Kim Mu Yeol continued, “After ‘Teach you a lesson‘ was released, Nam Jun messaged me saying, ‘Hyung, congratulations.’ I replied, ‘Congratulations to you too on the success of ‘My Royal Nemesis.’ Then Nam Jun said, ‘I can’t believe a day like this has come for me.’ Honestly, I’m really happy to see him doing so well.”

The two actors both graduated from the Department of Acting Arts at Sungkyunkwan University.

They have also been dominating buzz rankings together. According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex rankings for the first week of June (June 1–7), Kim Mu Yeol ranked No. 1 in the TV-OTT drama cast buzz category for Netflix’s “Teach You a Lesson,” while Heo Nam Jun ranked No. 2 for SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis.”
