Following the sudden news of actor Lee Sang Bo’s passing, it has been confirmed that all of his SNS posts have been deleted.
On the 27th of March, a media outlet reported that Lee Sang Bo was found dead the day before. The police are currently investigating the circumstances of his death.
Attention has been drawn to Lee Sang Bo’s empty SNS account, where all posts have been deleted. The traces of active communication from the past are gone, leaving only a blank account, evoking sadness among many.
Born in 1981, Lee Sang Bo was caught up in drug use allegations in 2022, but it was later revealed that the small amount of drug substances came from prescribed antidepressants and sedatives, and he was cleared of charges.
In September 2022, he was embroiled in allegations of drug use. However, he explained that the substances were prescribed medication for depression treatment, not drugs, and was cleared of charges.
During the investigation, false reports emerged claiming that he had admitted to the charges, which led to him being stigmatized as a “drug-using actor.”
Later, a detailed analysis by the National Forensic Service found no narcotic substances in his body, and the Seoul police ultimately decided not to forward the case on charges of drug use.
Lee Sang Bo passed away at the age of 45. He debuted in the KBS2 drama “Invisible Man Choi Jang Soo” and delivered notable performances in works including “Miss Monte Cristo” and “Elegant Empire.”
