Fellow Actors Praise Ji Sung as the “Perfect” Professional and Family Man

Fellow actors have shared glowing testimonies about Ji Sung. Park Byung Eun described Ji Sung as someone in “God’s realm,” praising him as a flawless actor, husband, and father.

On the 10th, the production presentation for the new JTBC Saturday drama “Apartment” was livestreamed online. The event featured director Jo Yong Won and actors Ji Sung, Ha Yun Kyung, Park Byung Eun, and Moon So Ri.

“Apartment” tells the story of former boss Park Hae Gang, who runs for the residents’ council chairman election to uncover hidden money, and his journey to eliminate corruption alongside residents.

Park Byung Eun, who plays construction company representative and penthouse resident Lee Choong Won in the drama, lavished praise on Ji Sung’s acting partnership. “He’s the best. In God’s realm. His consideration, passion for acting, his attitude—everything,” Park Byung Eun said. “Even in difficult filming situations, he took care of his family. During moments he could grab a quick rest, he was still reading scripts.”

Park Byung Eun continued, “He seemed like someone who literally designed the perfect actor’s life. I learned a lot from him. Not once did he furrow his brow or raise his voice. He even gave me his phone number. It was thrilling,” referring to online jokes about Ji Sung being an AI.

Ha Yun Kyung also shared her experience, saying, “He has an amazing reputation. He’s famous as an angelic senior.” She added, “I’m grateful he listened to everything I said and let me do things at my own pace. He was always reliable and someone I could depend on. I have no doubt that will come through beautifully in the work.”

Ji Sung married Lee Bo Young in 2013 and has two children: a daughter born in 2015 and a son born in 2019.
