Popular Actor Halts Drama Filming Following Sudden Hearing Loss, Agency Issues Update
Actor Gong Myung has reportedly temporarily halted drama filming due to sudden hearing loss.
Regarding this, on the 30th of December his agency Saram Entertainment told SPOTV News, “He was hospitalized due to dizziness,” adding, “He is expected to return to drama filming within this week.”
According to industry sources that day, Gong Myung is currently receiving inpatient treatment for sudden hearing loss and was unable to participate in the scheduled filming of the tvN drama “Secret Gratitude.” Filming for the drama has reportedly been postponed by a few days. Gong Myung is expected to return to the set later this week and resume filming.
After being discharged from the military in June 2023, Gong Myung has continued active work, appearing in the dramas “One Week Before I Die,” and more as well as the films “Citizen Deokhee” and “The History of Confession.”
He is set to appear in the tvN drama “Secret Gratitude” and the MBC drama “Your Ground,” both scheduled to be released next year.
