‘Good Partner 2’ Confirms November Premiere Date, Kim Hye Yoon And Park Hae Jin Join Cast
“Good Partner” is returning for a second season after two years.
According to a StarNews report on September 24, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Good Partner 2” (written by Choi Yoo Na, directed by Kim Ga Ram) will premiere on November 20.
“Good Partner 2” is a human legal office drama about Cha Eun Kyung (played by Jang Nara), the lead attorney at Korea’s first divorce-specialized law firm, who takes on an unavoidable new challenge alongside a partner she shares a complicated history with. It’s the sequel to “Good Partner,” which wrapped up in September 2024 with a peak nationwide rating of 17.7% (Nielsen Korea).
The previous season realistically portrayed the struggles of star attorney Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), for whom divorce is her calling, and rookie attorney Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), for whom it was all new, along with the high-stakes conflicts and dilemmas that arise the moment a family falls apart, earning strong viewer response. Jang Nara went on to win the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the “2024 SBS Drama Awards” for the role.
Jang Nara and Pyo Ji Hoon (PIO) are both returning for this season. Kim Hye Yoon has joined as Jang Nara’s new partner attorney, replacing Nam Ji Hyun, who has exited the project. Actor Park Hae Jin will also join the cast as the new male lead.
With its high-profile comeback now confirmed, attention is turning to whether “Good Partner 2” can repeat the success of its first season.
