Han Ji Hyun And Lee Sang Yi Feature In 1st Poster Of “No Gain No Love” Spin-Off Drama
The drama “Spice Up Our Love” has released the main poster featuring Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun, teasing the birth of a one-of-a-kind body-swap romance.
Set to premiere on October 3rd, the TVING original series “Spice Up Our Love” (creator Kim Hye Young, written by Jo Min Jung, directed by Jung Hoon) is a fantasy romance drama where 19+ web novelist Nam Ja Yeon (played by Han Ji Hyun) finds herself transported into her own story as the female lead, Seo Yeon Seo, and experiences an unpredictable romance with the male protagonist, Kang Ha Joon.
Fans of the original series were thrilled when news of the spin-off’s production was announced.
On September 19, the main poster was unveiled, showcasing the perfect chemistry between Lee Sang Yi (as Kang Ha Joon) and Han Ji Hyun (as Seo Yeon Seo). Lee Sang Yi plays Kang Ha Joon, the prickly CEO of GB Electric and the flawless male lead from Ja Yeon’s web novel, while Han Ji Hyun takes on a dual role as Seo Yeon Seo, the provocative nutritionist from the 19+ web novel, and as Nam Ja Yeon, the novelist herself.
The poster captures a completely different vibe from the original “No Gain, No Love” series, drawing attention with Han Ji Hyun sitting on the desk and gazing intensely at Lee Sang Yi, who is wrapping his arm around her waist. The close proximity and intense eye contact between the two raise the tension, perfectly conveying the provocative mood of “No Gain, No Love.”
The tagline, “I woke up as the female lead of my own 19+ web novel!” heightens expectations for Nam Ja Yeon’s extraordinary journey after being transported into her own web novel. Ja Yeon, now trapped in the body of Seo Yeon Seo, panics when she realizes that the perfect male lead, Kang Ha Joon, isn’t her muse, Ha Joon (played by Lee Yoo Jin), but Bok Kyu Hyun (played by Lee Sang Yi), from “No Gain, No Love.” The 19+ web novel setting adds even more excitement to what unfolds in this steamy tale.
Meanwhile, the spin-off TVING original series “No Gain, No Love” will air exclusively on TVING starting October 3rd, with the first two episodes. It will also be released globally in over 240 countries via Amazon Prime Video under the title “Spice Up Our Love.”
