Beloved Korean actress Han Yeri is leaving her agency!
On June 20, Saram Entertainment announced, “After thorough discussions, actress Han Yeri and our agency have decided to end our 15-year journey together. We sincerely thank Han Yeri for being with us all these years.”
To mark the end of their long-standing relationship, Han Yeri participated in a photoshoot for the July issue of Marie Claire Korea alongside Saram Entertainment CEO Lee So-young, who discovered and nurtured her career. The pictorial serves as a beautiful farewell, highlighting their enduring bond in the entertainment industry.
In the photos, both Han Yeri and Lee So-young wear all-black outfits, standing in a corridor and gazing in the same direction—a symbolic gesture representing the shared goals they’ve pursued over time. In another cut, they wear white and sit across from each other at a table, capturing the warmth and mutual respect between them.
When asked if they ever shared a dream during their time together, CEO Lee said, “If I had one dream, it was to see Han Yeri standing in the brightest spotlight, surrounded by people who could truly recognize her value and love her for who she is.”
She continued, “I believe Han Yeri is the most human actor I’ve ever met. If I could express one last message of love to her, I’d simply say, ‘It’s all okay.’ I believe the future will be a time for Ye-ri to return the love she received from Saram.”
Han Yeri also shared heartfelt words of appreciation: “Rather than having a big dream or ambition, we always shared the same direction—and that was gratitude. CEO Lee thought deeply about how I could be truly loved in the film world, helped me discover my worth, and created opportunities for others to appreciate me as well.”
She added, “To outsiders, this may look like a final farewell, but from our perspective in the industry, it’s actually something quite positive. Just as I love the CEO, I’ll be there whenever needed, and just as she loves me, I know she’ll support me in every way. We’ll keep finding ways to grow together—we’re people who deeply look forward to each other’s growth.”
Meanwhile, Han Yeri is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming film Spring Night, scheduled for release on July 9.
