Famous “Squid Game” Actor Joins Hands With SM To Release His First Solo Debut Album

Singer and actor Im Siwan is joining hands with SM Entertainment to launch his first solo album project.

On October 13, SM Entertainment told Dispatch, “A label under our company is currently preparing Im Siwan’s solo album. Details such as the release schedule are still being discussed.”

This marks Im Siwan’s first-ever solo album. He has previously showcased his vocal talent through several drama soundtracks, including Misaeng, The King Loves, and Boyhood.

Im Siwan debuted in 2010 as a member of ZE:A and later established himself as an acclaimed actor through projects such as Moon Embracing the Sun, Squid Game Season 3, The Attorney, and Mantis.

It appears he plans to continue his music career following this collaboration. In a recent interview for the Netflix film Mantis, Im Siwan stated, “I’ve never given up on being a singer.”

Meanwhile, Im Siwan recently ended his exclusive contract with Plum A&C, and his new agency has not yet been confirmed.
