Actor Jung Woo Sung is still discussing whether he will attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards after some reports alleged he’s not attending.
Initially, Jung Woo Sung was expected to attend as a nominee for Best Actor for the film Spring in Seoul. However, just before the event, it was revealed that he is the father of a child born to Moon Gabi, drawing significant attention. When this news first broke, Jung Woo Sung expressed his intention to attend, leading to speculation about how he might address the situation publicly.
Further controversy followed when reports surfaced of his alleged long-term relationship with a non-celebrity woman and the leak of photos showing him engaging in close physical interaction with another woman. This meant the actor was involved in three different relationships with women.
On November 26, his agency, Artist Company, told Spotv News: “Regarding Jung Woo Sung’s attendance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards, we are prioritizing the value of the awards and smooth proceedings, and we are currently in discussions with the event organizers.”
The agency also clarified that the claims of him deciding to skip the ceremony are not true, stating, “We feel deeply sorry toward the public for any fatigue caused by this situation.”
The 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards will be held this Friday, the 29th of November.
