Did IU Allude To Her Relationship With Lee Jong Suk In New Interview? She Said This

Singer and actress IU spoke about her views on relationships.

Recently, a new video was uploaded to IU’s official channel. Guests on the episode included Byeon Woo Seok, Yoo Su Bin, and Lee Yeon.

In the released video, Byeon Woo Seok recalled a scene completed through ad-libs and said, “There was a scene I filmed with Su Bin, and it didn’t go smoothly at all.”

Yoo Su Bin responded, “It’s a scene from episode 2, but we filmed it quite a while after the main shooting period. We had become closer, and our affection had grown, so it was harder because we wanted to do well.” Byeon Woo Seok also added, “We had grown to like each other more, so that feeling of affection became even stronger.”

Upon hearing this, Lee Yeon joked, “So saying you loved someone means at first the love was just this small?” IU then responded, “Right. And when you truly love someone, you don’t keep talking about love like that. Love is something that exists at the base of your emotions.”

Byeon Woo Seok paused and said, “Lately I’ve been thinking that expressing feelings is really good. People need to express themselves.” When Yoo Su Bin said, “Hyung, I love you,” Byeon Woo Seok replied, “I love you too,” adding, “That’s why you should express love.”

Many people believe IU was alluding to her relationship with actor Lee Jong Suk. IU has been in a public relationship with actor Lee Jong Suk since 2022, now continuing into their fourth year. The two are known to have grown close after first meeting through Inkigayo in 2012.

Although breakup rumors have surfaced several times, they have all been confirmed to be false.
