Jang Geun Suk Admits His Ex-Girlfriend Once Said He Was “Beyond Rehabilitation”
Actor Jang Geun Suk revealed the reason why his ex-girlfriend told him he was “beyond rehabilitation.”
On the SBS variety program “But Seriously!” aired on the 20th of April, Jang Geun Suk and Choi Daniel appeared as guests.
That day, when asked, “Are you doing well in your dating life?”, Jang Geun Suk casually replied, “I’m dating well without making it obvious.”
Lee Su Ji asked Jang Geun Suk and Choi Daniel about their ideal type. Jang Geun Suk joked, “I’m not that superficial. I don’t focus on appearances,” making a playful jab at Choi Daniel and drawing laughter.
He continued, “I focus on inner feelings. For example, my ideal type is a woman who, when I drive her home, keeps waving until she disappears from the side mirror.”
The panel reacted with comments like, “It’s better to just look at bone structure,” and “That’s difficult,” while a flustered Jang Geun Suk quickly explained, “There really was someone like that.”
Lee Sang Min then asked Jang Geun Suk, “What is the worst thing you’ve ever heard from an ex-girlfriend?”
Jang Geun Suk thought for a moment and said, “It was, ‘You are beyond rehabilitation.’ I don’t lie when I’m dating. Isn’t getting caught more embarrassing and humiliating? But I also don’t go around telling people I’m seeing someone first. I often meet my female friends too,” surprising everyone with his honesty.
He continued, “One day, my ex-girlfriend found out about a meeting I had with a female friend. We talked for two hours about it, and then she told me, ‘You are beyond rehabilitation.’ That was four years ago, but I still think about the word ‘rehabilitation’ to this day,” he said, causing laughter.
