The Famous “Running Man” Member Who Worked Part Time At A Cafe After Leaving The Show
Actress Jeon So Min, known for her appearance on “Running Man,” shared updates on her life after leaving the show.
On the 13th of December, a video titled “Thank you for waiting|Jeon Makase Jeon So Min Choi Daniel Episode” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Ji Pyeonhan Saesang”.
In the video, Ji Suk Jin was delighted to see Jeon So Min after a long time, calling her by her nickname “Sobara” while holding her hands and jumping with joy. He expressed his affection, saying, “You’ve lost weight. Who’s been bothering you? Tell me.” Although they had occasionally spoken on the phone, it was their first meeting in a year. Jeon So Min humorously bowed deeply to Ji Suk Jin, saying she should pay her respects.
Ji Suk Jin commented, “This is the first time seeing So Min after she left Running Man.” Jeon So Min replied, “Instead of saying I left, how about calling it a graduation?” However, Ji Suk Jin said, “Graduation? There’s no such thing. You left. You clearly expressed your intention to leave, and we supported you. I tried to stop you. Everyone tried to persuade you to reconsider, but you didn’t stay,” expressing his regret.
Jeon So Min mentioned, “Running Man‘s atmosphere has improved a lot these days, and the average age of the cast has decreased.”
Jeon So Min shared, “I started filming sooner than expected. After 3-4 months, I shot a movie, two one-act dramas, and then started Jisonghamnida. I was very worried. I couldn’t see the future because there was nothing scheduled. I had moved houses and graduated from Running Man, and I thought, ‘How am I supposed to survive in this tough industry?’ I even worked part-time at an acquaintance’s café.” Ji Suk Jin responded, surprised, “I was shocked. She was working part-time in Sangam-dong!”
Jeon So Min elaborated, “The Channel A building is in Sangam-dong. There are many people there. Studio Dragon is on the second floor. When people came, they kept looking for cameras, asking, ‘Is this a café experience show?’ One condition was that I didn’t wear a mask or hat. That was supposed to boost sales. But my hourly pay stayed the same,” drawing laughter. She continued, “They didn’t provide meal support, but I bought meals for the customers. It was fun. I worked at a café for a long time when I was 29, and it reminded me of those days when I was dreaming of becoming an actress again. It felt like recharging my energy.”
Meanwhile, Jeon So Min left Running Man in November last year after six years. She is currently starring in the KBS Joy drama “Sorry not Sorry.”
