One Of The Biggest Rising Variety Show Stars Announces Break Due To Health Reason, Recent Interview Regains Attentions

Actress Ji Ye Eun will be taking a break due to health reasons.

On August 26, her agency C.P Entertainment told Newsen, “Starting next month, Ji Ye Eun will be focusing on her health and dedicating herself to recovery. C.P Entertainment will provide full support to ensure the actress gets sufficient rest and can return well.”

Ji Ye Eun has been receiving much love as a fixed cast member of SBS variety show “Running Man.” She has also appeared in various other programs, including “SNL Korea,” “Office Workers,” “Great Family Emergency Ledger,” and “Crazy Rich Korean.”

Ji Ye Eun is currently considered one of the biggest rising variety show stars due to her personality and the volume of shows she appears on. Many believe this is likely one of the reasons she’s taking a break. Because of the announcement, fans have recalled the actress talking about burn out recently.

Previously, Ji Ye Eun made headlines when she confessed, “I drink alcohol because life isn’t fun,” openly revealing her burnout. Later, she shared, “I have to keep working. I received a lot of hateful DMs saying, ‘Did you get arrogant?’ which made me snap out of it. My mom also scolded me a lot,” adding that she was determined, saying, “I will work every single day.”
