Jo Bok Rae Postpones Long-Awaited Wedding Ceremony Five Years After Marriage
Actor Jo Bok Rae has postponed his belated wedding ceremony, which had been scheduled to take place five years after his marriage.
According to his agency BH Entertainment on the 21st of February, Jo Bok Rae’s wedding ceremony, which was set for that day, has been postponed.
The agency explained, “The wedding that was scheduled for today could not proceed due to personal circumstances and matters concerning both families. They have decided to discuss the ceremony schedule again.” Jo Bok Rae had planned to hold the delayed ceremony at a location in Gangnam, Seoul.
Jo Bok Rae married his wife in 2021 but was unable to hold a ceremony due to the impact of COVID-19. The couple welcomed their first son in 2023 and their second child, a daughter, last year. In particular, their daughter’s name drew attention after it was chosen as “Jo Yeon Ah” through a viewer vote on the YouTube channel Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong Yup, receiving the highest number of votes.
In November last year, Jo Bok Rae appeared on the MBN and Channel S variety show Jun Hyun Moo Plan 3, where he revealed news of his marriage, drawing interest. Explaining why he shared the news late, he said, “I’m not a very famous actor, and I thought announcing my marriage might seem presumptuous. When people around me asked how I was doing, I would naturally mention it. I am planning to hold the wedding ceremony in February next year.”
He is also set to join the upcoming SBS drama Manager Kim, continuing his busy schedule this year.
