Rising Actress Joins Former “Squid Game” Co-Star’s Agency Following Departure from Previous Agency

Jung Ho Yeon has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment.

On the 17th of January, BH Entertainment announced the news, stating, “We are delighted to work with actress Jung Ho Yeon. She is an actress with immense potential and much more to show in the future. Through a systematic and meticulous management system that encompasses both domestic and international opportunities, we will support Jung Ho Yeon in growing into an actress who is loved globally.”

Jung Ho Yeon debuted in 2011 through Korea’s Next Top Model Season 2. She built a solid reputation as a model by participating in various fashion shows and global brand campaigns.

Later, she made her acting debut in the Netflix original series “Squid Game” Season 1, where she portrayed the character Kang Sae Byeok. Her performance earned her worldwide acclaim, creating what has been called the “Jung Ho Yeon Syndrome.”

Jung Ho Yeon became the first Korean actor to win the Best Actress award at the 28th SAG Awards and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 74th Emmy Awards, further elevating the global recognition of Korean content.

With this move, she joins former “Squid Game” co-stars agency. BH also houses Lee Byung Hun, Park Hae Soo, and more.

Continuing her global journey, Jung Ho Yeon recently completed filming for director Na Hong Jin’s new movie “Hope” and garnered attention for her role as Jisoo, an assistant to Catherine (played by Cate Blanchett), in the 2024 Apple TV+ drama “Disclaimer.”
