On November 4, the actress’s agency released an official statement to confirm the reports that Jung Joo Yeon had recently gotten a divorce. They stated they mutually agreed to end their marriage last month.
Jung Joo Yeon and her non-celebrity ex-husband had held a wedding this March, however, they had not registered their marriage yet. This means the couple never officially filed for divorce.
Jung Joo Yeon debuted in 2009 and has appeared in many dramas and movies across the years.
The news has since shocked netizens as it marks one of the shortest marriages for a Korean actress.
