“Resident Playbook” Rising Actor Jung Joon Won (37) has addressed the dating rumors involving model-turned-actress Kang Seung Hyun (37).
On May 27, dating rumors spread across online communities claiming the two had been in a relationship for three years, citing so-called “Lovestagram” posts. Alleged evidence included photos taken at the same locations and wearing similar hats.
Jung Joon Won’s side told JTBC Entertainment News, “They became close friends while working together on the film ‘Believer.’” Kang Seung Hyun’s side also shut down the rumors, stating, “They’ve been longtime friends.”
Born in 1988, Jung Joon Won made his acting debut in the 2015 film “Avian Kind.” He recently rose to stardom through his role as Gu Dowon in the hit tvN drama “Resident Playbook.” Many fans are side-eyeing the rumors as they coincide with his rise to popularity.
Kang Seung Hyun, born in 1987, was a prominent model in the 2000s before expanding into acting with her role in “Believer.” She has since appeared in films like “Homme Fatale,” “Believer 2,” and dramas such as “Partners for Justice 2.”
