Fans Shocked To Learn The“The Trunk” Actress Jung Yun Ha Was Diagnosed With Cancer

Actress Jung Yun Ha, who previously revealed she was diagnosed with cancer, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received.

According to News1, Jung Yunha participated in a press interview on December 6 regarding the Netflix series “The Trunk.” The drama delves into the mysterious story of a secretive marriage service exposed by a trunk that surfaces in a lakeside and the peculiar relationship between two characters entangled in its narrative. Gong Yoo [ Han Jeong Won] and Seo Hyun Jin play the lead roles while Jung Yun Ha portrays Seo Yeon, Han Jeong Won’s wife.

Jung Yun Ha first disclosed her cancer diagnosis in May, garnering significant public encouragement. Reflecting on the period, she shared, “I was shocked to see the news articles—it was the first time I experienced anything like that. I received so much support from so many people, including my family, and it was incredibly surprising to feel such encouragement from strangers.”

She added, “Since then, I’ve received proper treatment, and I’m healthier now. Everything has become clearer and simpler.” The actress noted that the experience prompted deep self-reflection, saying, “I started focusing on myself more. It led me to reassess what I like, what makes me uncomfortable, and how I perceive food, relationships with family, and interactions with others. I realized I had been unaware of my true feelings, which made me rethink many aspects of my life and establish new standards.”

Looking back on the year, she remarked, “It was an incredibly eventful year, with both great moments and personal health challenges, but everything passed eventually. There’s a saying, ‘It turned out for the better,’ and it really feels that way. I’ve become stronger and a little happier.”
