Actress Kim Bo Ra (30) and director Cho Barun (36) have officially divorced.
On May 10, Kim Bo Ra’s agency Noon Company confirmed the news, stating that she and director Cho Barun recently finalized their divorce through mutual agreement.
Noon Company said, “After careful consideration and thorough discussions, the two proceeded with the divorce amicably and have now completed all related procedures.”
The agency added, “We earnestly ask the public to refrain from making unfounded speculations, spreading provocative reports, or circulating false information regarding this matter.”
Kim Bo Ra and Cho Barun first met while working together on the 2021 film “Horror Stories 3: The Grotesque Mansion” and developed a romantic relationship.
After dating for over three years, the couple tied the knot in June of last year. However, they have now decided to part ways after just over a year of marriage.
Kim Bo Ra made her debut as a child actress in the 2005 KBS2 drama “Wedding.” She gained widespread recognition through the hit series “SKY Castle,” and has since continued her career with works such as “Touch,” “Even the Sand Flower Blooms,” and “Death to Snow White – Black Out.”
Director Cho Barun is known for directing films such as “Horror Stories 3: The Grotesque Mansion,” “Vibration,” “Gang,” and “Blow, Gunwind.”
