Rising Actor Talks About The Serious Motorcycle Accident That Hospitalized Him For 24 Weeks
Actor Kim Do Hoon shared an update on his condition after his injury.
On October 30, Kim Do Hoon attended the production press conference for the TVing original series “Dear X” at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul.
Earlier, in March, Kim Do Hoon suffered an accident while practicing motorcycle riding for a drama shoot and was diagnosed with a 24-week recovery period. He injured his forearm and other areas, requiring hospitalization and surgery.
When asked about his injury, Kim Do Hoon said, “I’ve recovered fully thanks to proper treatment. The injury happened while I was practicing on the bike.”
He added, “I knew how to ride a motorcycle and was filming safely, so it was an unexpected injury. This experience taught me to always be careful. I’ve recovered well.”
MC Park Kyung Rim joked, “You even came in motorcycle gear today,” to which Kim Do Hoon humorously replied, “I came by car today. I won’t ride the bike,” drawing laughter from the audience.
Starring Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, and Lee Yeol Eum, “Dear X” tells the story of Baek Ah Jin (Kim Yoo Jung), a masked woman trying to rise to the highest place while escaping hell, and the Xs she cruelly trampled. The series will premiere on TVing on November 6.
