Former LE SSERAFIM Member Kim Garam Makes Full Leap Into Acting

Kim Garam, who departed from the group LE SSERAFIM, is stepping into acting in earnest.

On September 10th, her agency Management Koo released new profile photos of Kim Garam.

In the photos, Kim Garam pulled off a range of concepts seamlessly, from a clean and pure atmosphere to a chic, charisma-filled look. With a more mature gaze and expression bringing out a different mood in each cut, the photos raised anticipation for the range of expression she’ll be able to show as an actress.

According to Management Koo, Kim Garam has been preparing for this new chapter by building up her skills across multiple areas, including acting, foreign languages (English and Japanese), and physical training.

A representative from Management Koo shared, “Through this profile shoot, we wanted to showcase the multifaceted charm she has and her potential as an actress. We will spare no support in helping her show an even more grown version of herself in good projects going forward.”

Kim Garam previously debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in 2022, but left the group after school violence allegations surfaced. At the time, her then-agency Source Music stated that the claims against her were false and signaled legal action over the spread of false information, but ultimately announced in July of that year that it had terminated its exclusive contract with Kim Garam.

Kim Garam then signed an exclusive contract with Management Koo this past June, announcing her transition into acting. She is currently carefully reviewing potential upcoming projects ahead of officially beginning her acting career.
