Kim Hye Yoon is set to transform into a gumiho (nine-tailed fox) in the upcoming SBS TV drama “But I’m a Human Starting Today”.

The drama is a romantic comedy that centers around the gumiho Eun-ho, played by Kim Hye Yoon, and a soccer star named Si-yeol, played by Lomon, who has his wishes taken away by her.

Kim Hye Yoon will once again delve into the rom-com genre with this new role. Her character, Eun-ho, is a gumiho who refuses to become an ordinary human, instead enjoying eternal youth and indulging in the most entertaining aspects of the human world. She avoids doing small good deeds to prevent becoming human and takes pleasure in minor mischiefs.

On the other hand, Si-yeol is a star striker for a famous overseas football team, known for setting numerous records. His life takes a dramatic turn when Eun-ho enters the scene.

The drama is directed by Kim Jeong-gwon, known for “Maestra” (2023–2024), and written by Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young, who previously worked on “The Best Chicken” (2019). The series is scheduled to air next year.
