Popular Idol-Turned-Actress Shocks With Belated Marriage Announcement, Got Married A Couple Of Months Back
Former Rainbow member and actress Kim Jae Kyung has married her non-celebrity boyfriend.
On December 16, media outlet YTN reported that Kim Jae Kyung tied the knot with her non-celebrity boyfriend earlier this year. Out of respect for her non-celebrity spouse, the couple held a small wedding ceremony with family members at a location in Seoul.
It was revealed that she got married to her boyfriend a couple of months back. Added to the surprise of fans, many weren’t aware she was dating.
On the same day, her agency, Namoo Actors, released a statement saying, “Kim Jae Kyung has met a precious partner and, based on deep trust and affection, exchanged vows last summer in the presence of her immediate family. The ceremony was held privately to respect her non-celebrity spouse.”
They added, “Kim Jae Kyung will continue to work hard to repay the love she has received by delivering good performances and works as an actress. Please join us in congratulating and warmly encouraging Kim Jae Kyung as she embarks on this new chapter of her life.”
With this, Kim Jae Kyung has become the third member of Rainbow to get married. Previously, Jung Yoon Hye was reported to be the third married member after tying the knot with actor Ahn Jae Min in October. However, it has now been revealed that Kim Jae Kyung married earlier.
Kim Jae Kyung debuted in 2009 as the leader of the girl group Rainbow, quickly gaining popularity with her stunning visuals and performance skills. She majored in fashion design, showcasing her talents in clothing redesign, accessory making, and other crafts, earning attention as a versatile talent.
After transitioning to acting, she built a diverse filmography with stable acting skills. She began her acting career with the drama Monster and went on to appear in dramas like Bad Papa, The Devil Judge, Again My Life, and The Grand Shining Hotel, as well as films like The Train Station and Picking Up You.
