Known Actor Shares Story About Getting Diagnosed With Brain Tumor In The Past

Actor Kim Ji Suk revealed that a brain tumor was discovered during a health check-up 10 years ago.

Recently, a video about health checkups was uploaded to Kim Ji Suk’s YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim Ji Suk said, “Now that I’m in my mid-40s, I wanted to give myself a gift,” as he headed to the hospital for a premium health check-up.

Having fasted for 18 hours prior to the examination, Kim Ji Suk noted, “I lost 2kg in a day. I’m currently at 73kg.” He explained, “Today’s health check-up is a premium one. It’s slightly more expensive than at regular hospitals, but I’m doing it as a birthday treat.” He added that his last check-up was 2–3 years ago and shared, “Back then, I was 44 in real age, but my ‘health age’ came out as 48. Once you’re over 40, your body doesn’t feel like your own anymore.”

He then made a surprising confession: “I actually had a health check-up 10 years ago, back when I was in my 30s, and they found a tumor in my brain. Thankfully, it wasn’t malignant. Since then, I get a full check-up every 2–3 years.”

Kim Ji Suk then underwent a thorough three-hour health screening. The results showed that all areas were normal. Notably, his male hormone levels were measured at over 15, which exceeded the typical range. The examining doctor commented, “This is the first time I’ve seen a result like this. Have you been undergoing testosterone treatment?” Kim Ji Suk replied, “I just make sure to take my supplements regularly.”
