Actress Kim Min Ha has mentioned the difficult period she went through in her twenties when she began acting.

Recently, Kim Min Ha had an interview ahead of the finale of her drama “Typhoon Company.”

That day, Kim Min Ha said, “When I first started acting in my twenties, there were of course so many times when things did not go the way I wanted. ‘You should really give up,’ ‘Lose weight,’ ‘Get rid of your freckles,’ ‘Get plastic surgery,’ ‘This is why you don’t make it,’ things like that — when I think about it now, I heard a lot of harsh words,” and added, “So I did get hurt a lot, but those words became a big motivator for me. If I hadn’t heard those words, I don’t think I would have been able to straighten my mindset.”

She continued, “I cried without restraint and fell into a cave by myself, but as those times repeated, I think I became a little stronger. I try to look into myself a little more,” sharing how she overcame the difficult period.

She then said, “When I look at things coldly — what I am doing well right now, and what I might be needing a little — it feels like things become balanced.”

Meanwhile, “Typhoon Company” is a work that depicts the growth story of Kang Tae Poong (Lee Jun Ho), who becomes the CEO of a trading company during the 1997 IMF financial crisis despite being a complete beginner. Kim Min Ha played the role of Oh Mi Sun, the bookkeeper of Storm Company. The drama recently ended with a nationwide paid-household rating of 10.3% based on Nielsen Korea, marking its highest rating.
