From her debut up until recently, Kim Min Ha had charmed audiences with a healthier, fuller beauty and a distinct charm, but she is now showcasing a completely different, slimmer appearance.
Recently, Kim Min Ha uploaded several photos to her SNS without any caption other than emojis. The released pictures showed the actress visiting an exhibition. She styled her hair up and wore a white sleeveless top paired with light pink floral-patterned pants and gold flat shoes.
In the photos, Kim Min Ha showed off a playful side by posing for pictures with funny expressions and moving around as if dancing while holding a champagne glass.
What especially caught attention was Kim Min Ha’s dramatic transformation. She appeared noticeably slimmer after losing a significant amount of weight. Even in several recent updates before this, her visuals looked much thinner compared to her earlier projects. Just five days ago, fans were already surprised by how extremely slim she looked even from a back-view photo alone.
Previously, Kim Min Ha had openly shared her thoughts about beauty standards and dieting as an actress. In an interview following the conclusion of “Typhoon Company,” she said, “The kind of comments I want to fight against are things like, ‘Why is an actress fat?’ or ‘Why does she have freckles?’ People try to force everything into standardized beauty ideals. Everyone has their own charm, but I think people get hurt hearing those kinds of comments.”
Meanwhile, Kim Min Ha is currently filming the Netflix movie “Byuljit” alongside Noh Sang Hyun. She is also set to appear in the Netflix series “Honey Part-Time Job” as well as the upcoming Disney+ series “The Miracles of the Namiya General Store,” which is scheduled for release next year.
