Actor Koo Kyo Hwan is considering appearing in writer Kim Eun Hee’s new drama “Signal 2.”
On the 22nd of July, his agency, Namoo Actors, stated, ” Koo Kyo Hwan has received an offer to appear in ‘Signal 2’ and is currently reviewing it.”
“Signal” is a drama that aired on tvN in 2016, focusing on detectives from the present and the past who reconnect through a desperate radio transmission to solve long-standing unsolved cases. The original series starred actors Lee Je Hoon, Kim Hye Soo, and Jo Jin Woong.
Recently, news of the production of a second season has been announced, with writer Kim Eun-hee mentioning at the “2024 K-Forum” held on the 17th that she is “happily writing the script for season 2 as a way to repay the love received from many people.”
Koo Kyo Hwan’s recent collaboration with Lee Je Hoon in the movie “Escape” has led to speculation about their potential reunion in “Signal 2.” Many fans are already excited about the prospect of the two actors joining hands again for the highly anticipated 2nd season of Signal.
